Event Details
Discover a new favorite spice with the Coronado Public Library! Each month, the library has been inviting community members to explore different spices used in dishes around the world. Registrants will pick up the monthly spice selection at the library, cook with it, and join other food enthusiasts in person or on Zoom to talk about what they made and their thoughts about the spice. The meeting will be held in the Winn Room on Friday, August 27 at 2 p.m. Once registered, participants will receive instructions on how to pick up a spice packet for the August Spice It Up, Coronado program. For those who prefer to meet through Zoom, the link will be emailed the day before we meet. Only one registrant per household, please.
For the month of August, we will be exploring dried pandan leaves. All spices come pre-packaged with ingredients clearly listed on each packet.
