Purpose of Meeting

“Beyond Survival" is a book and a story about reaffirming the invincibility of the human spirit, written by former POW, Captain Jerry Coffee. It is also is the basis upon which the Human Spirit Project (HSP, a non-profit organization) was founded.

Jeff Hoyer will speak about how "Beyond Survival" not just changed his life, but in fact saved it, and how others (both in and out of prison) can benefit from Captain Coffee’s inspirational message. The book is the story of Navy Captain Jerry Coffee who was shot down in Vietnam and spent seven years as a POW. Jeff came into contact with "Beyond Survival" while he was incarcerated in Federal Prison years ago.

Jeff Hoyer is the Executive Director of the Human Spirit Project, is also a former Marine and FBI agent with an unusual story as well.
