In the '80s, Coronado was home to a famous surfing duo, D.C. and his dog Max. Today, there's another duo: Kentucky and his therapy dog Derby.
Come for a live reading of The Adventures of Derby California: Derby Learns to Surf with the authors Kentucky Gallahue and Glenn Millar. After the storytime, stick around for a meet and greet with the surfing dog himself, Derby! He is a certified therapy dog who visits with children in schools, libraries, and public spaces.
