Event Details

Explore the Nature Lab to learn about your local ecosystem and engage with the environment during the City Nature Challenge. Library staff will teach you how to use iNaturalist to identify plants, animals, bugs, and birds, share your observations with researchers and contribute to San Diego's City Nature Challenge number! 

The San Diego Tracking Team will be here with hands-on activities teaching you how to find and observe animals in our ecosystem. 

At 11am, The Living Coast Discovery Center will bring a feathered friend for a visit!

Our Nature Lab is open no matter what the weather has in store for us on Saturday.
