Globe at Night is an international citizen-science campaign to raise public awareness of the impact of light pollution by inviting citizen-scientists to measure & submit their night sky brightness observations.
Learn to identify constellations in the sky as you observe and collect data. The information you collect will be used by the National Science Foundation’s NOIRLab, the preeminent US national center for ground-based, nighttime optical and infrared astronomy, which is managed by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), under cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation.
