For 22 years, the American Lung Association has analyzed data from official air quality monitors to compile the State of the Air report. The more you learn about the air you breathe, the more you can protect your health and take steps to make the air cleaner and healthier. The American Lung Association will share findings from their recently released 2021 report and what they mean for Coronado.

Presenters include:

  • William Barrett – California Advocacy Director for Clean Air
  • Michael Welch, M.D. with Allergy & Asthma Medical Group & Research Center Rady Children’s Specialist in Allergy and Immunology, and Clinical Professor, UCSD School of Medicine and long-time volunteer for the American Lung Association.
  • Loralee Olejnik – Health Promotion Specialist, San Diego
  • Rita Redaelli – Executive Director, American Lung Association in California

This talk will be recorded and available for on demand viewing on the Library's Facebook and Youtube pages following the event.
