FILM FORUM CORONADO: "Repeat Performance"

*This month, FILM FORUM CORONADO will take place on the second Wednesday of the month, January 8.*

Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents FILM FORUM CORONADO, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the library's Winn Room. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story.

January 8: Repeat Performance (1947, Approved, 93 min)

A highly original hybrid of film noir, supernatural fantasy and backstage drama. The film stars Joan Leslie as a Broadway actress who magically relives the past year of her life, but can she alter the fateful mistakes that led to a New Year’s Eve tragedy? Co-starring Louis Hayward.
