“SALT OF THE EARTH”

(1954, 92 minutes)

Banned at the time of its release and made by blacklisted filmmakers, this is a bold, revolutionary film of struggle and resistance. The saga of striking Mexican-American miners in New Mexico radically addresses issue of sexism, racism, and class exploitation.
