Máirtín de Cógáin: a singing, dancing, story-telling bodhrán player who also is a noted playwright and actor.  You may have seen Máirtín in the motion picture ‘The Wind that Shakes the Barley’ or the off–Broadway show in town last year ‘De Bogman’.  A two time All-Ireland Champion storyteller, he has played in nearly every state in the union and been on ask to perform for many heads of state. Hailing from Cork, his shows are not to be missed.

Other musicians and performers:

Pete Polansky (Fiddle, Banjo and Guitar) A graduate of Berklee School of Music, he teaches and performs regularly in the Traditional Irish Music idiom.

Benjamin Jaber (Uileann Pipes, Flute and Whistles) has been the Principal Horn of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra since May 2008. He has also appeared as a guest artist on the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Green Umbrella new music series and enjoys playing traditional Irish music on the side.

Michael Prine, Jr.  has competed with the Haney School of Irish dance in San Diego at the Championship level. Michael’s love for Irish dance and music has given him the opportunity to perform with some of his favorite Irish bands including the Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, and six time Grammy winners, The Chieftains. Michael’s enthusiasm for his Irish culture extends far beyond just step dancing. Michael is one of the premier sean-nós (old style) dancers on the West Coast, studying and performing with the great Ben Power of Liverpool, England.
