Program Description

Event Details

This month, Spice It Up! features a plant-based cooking demonstration with Chef Liz Gary and features nutritional yeast. Learn how nutritional yeast is used in a variety of plant-based alternative recipes for meat, seafood, eggs, and dairy. Nutritional yeast adds a depth of cheesy flavor; it’s great on popcorn! Another bonus: nutritional yeast is an ideal source of vitamin B-12.

Registration is required. Please sign up each person individually.

Liz Gary is a plant-based chef, food writer, and founder of Vegan Culinary Memoirs ePublishing. She writes a weekly recipe column for Southern California grocery chain Jensen’s Foods and has an upcoming book titled: Black Belt in Tofu: Today’s Plant-Based, Protein-Rich Alternative to Meat, Seafood, Eggs & Dairy.
