Event Details

Calling all 4th and 5th graders who are hungry for the chance to connect and talk books! That is what the Page Turners Book Club is all about. Reading the selected book is not required. Your favorite librarians, Coronado Library's Katia Graham and Village Elementary's Amy Statezny will take turns moderating each session. Kids will also have the opportunity to take turns cohosting the program! 

The first book will be The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street by Karina Yan Glaser. The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street is a California Young Reader Medal Nominee. Future selections will include different genres and titles that spark discussions about diversity and other issues participants are interested in.

Registration is available below. A Zoom link will be sent out to registrants a day prior to the event. Participants will be able to vote for the next read at the end of each book club meeting.
