Safe Harbor Friends & Family Speaker Series: LGBTQIA+ Allies

May is Mental Wellness Month, and Safe Harbor is presenting a speaker series on mental-health topics. On May 23, the topic is allies of LGBTQIA+ people. 

The speaker for this presentation is Holly Reese (she/her/hers), Director of Advocacy and Training for The LGBTQIA+ Center of Southern Nevada. Reese has developed and engaged in LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusion trainings and anti-violence work, which address topics ranging from HIV awareness/prevention to sex/gender inclusivity. Holly creates a safe place to ask questions and dive into untangling the alphabet soup while discussing current social issues and moving towards greater understanding of today’s queer culture.
