Register to join us at 4 p.m. on zoom as we put together our mini zen gardens. Zen gardens have been used to focus the mind and create a calming moment for the user. they can be a key part of a meditative practice. Use the repetitive motions of raking the sand to provide a space in your mind for mindfulness. If you were unable to pick up a kit, you can call the library at 619-522-7390 to see if any are still available. Otherwise, you will need a small container, sand, some tiny décor and a fork to make your own at home.
