This event is in Spanish and in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego.

With her pink hair, honesty and empathy, Señorita Lechuga (Ms. Lettuce) is ready to be a helping hand that can accompany you when you need it. Speaking from her everyday life and with her unique way of seeing the world and love, Señorita Lechuga wrote a book that wants to accompany you in the moments where you need a reminder that even falling is a way to fly.

Andrea Chavarín (illustrator, museologist and historian) and Yolanda Morales (writer, journalist and producer), combined their two skills to bring the character of Señorita Lechuga to life in 2016. Both are an example that a great friendship can produce a project as wonderful as Señorita Lechuga's creation is. After several years publishing on networks, now Señorita Lechuga has a book where, with 127 illustrated pages, some of them interactive, she wants to be your companion in everyday situations in which sometimes you need a friend to advise you or hold your hand to move forward.
