Do you want to live longer, have better quality of life, and reduce your chances of heart attacks, strokes, and cancers? You can do so by modifying certain day-to-day habits. Dr. Lucas Ramirez will outline a short list of simple and practical changes you can make and show you why they can help lower your risk of stroke and change your health for the better.

Dr. Ramirez is a vascular neurologist specializing in the prevention and treatment of neurologic emergencies such as strokes and brain hemorrhages. Growing up, he never envisioned becoming a doctor, though his admiration of the human body while studying anatomy in college led him down the path of becoming the first physician in his family. Trained at renowned academic institutions in Los Angeles, he now works in Southern California at one of the most reputable hospital systems in the nation. His published research is in the top 5% of all research outputs ever tracked by Altmetric. His passion for stroke prevention drives him to integrate disease prevention and community education into his practice.
