Pysanka Workshop

Learn to create traditional Ukrainian decorated eggs using the centuries-old wax-resist and dye technique. In this hands-on class, you will complete one pysanka from start to finish — mapping your design in pencil, drawing with hot wax using a traditional tool called a "kistka," and building up layers of color through a series of dye baths. No experience necessary, all materials will be provided. 

Space is limited, registration is recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space permits.
