Jurij Josyfovych is a singer from Lviv best known for his renditions of Ukrainian folk music. His unique style incorporates elements of voice, folk music and electronic minimalism. Ukrainian folk music utilizes a traditional technique called white voice (also called natural or rare). This style is based on an open throat and results in a distinctive singing style. Josyfovych successfully used his characteristic mix of styles as the basis for his two albums, "New Psalma. Maidan" and "HEART. NOVA AVTENTYKA." His performance will demonstrate the vibrancy of authentic Ukrainian music.
