The third and final concert in the Villa-Lobos Festival, “Latin American Impressions: from the Argentine Puna to the streets of Rio de Janeiro," will take place at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served.

The Villa-Lobos Festival String Quartet performs ballet music by Chavez; Villa-Lobos’ depiction of Rio’s infectious nightlife; and the quartet is joined by San Diego flutist Beth Ross-Buckley in Ginastera’s impressions of Argentina’s mountain plateaus, the Puna.

This concert is presented in partnership with the Coronado Cultural Arts Commission.
