Emerald Keepers and the Coronado Public Library team up again to offer the annual Emerald Community Read! Leveraging his three-plus decades of diverse climate change experience, Dr. Merrifield, PhD, director of the Scripps Center for Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation, supports and conducts research advancing the understanding of climate impacts, provides meaningful projections, and prepares the next generation of scientists, engineers and policymakers in risk assessment and adaptation strategies. Learn about how climate change is already affecting Coronado's shoreline, residents and real estate, and what can be done.
