Do you love to write poetry? Are you ready to take the next step and submit your work to this year’s KidsWrite! poetry contest? Every year the San Diego Writers Festival puts out a call to youth writers, eager to hear from the vibrant and powerful minds of our younger generation: You! In this workshop, we will write to a series of poetry prompts meant to help you generate new poetry around this year’s theme, “Here Comes the Sun.” Bring paper, pencil, and your passion for poetry.
Register here for the Zoom link to attend. The link will be emailed to participants 24 hours before the event.
