Autumn Concert Series

This week's featured performer is Judy Darst. 

Judy Darst Biography: Aside from family….my interest: I wanted to be a veterinarian but women were discouraged in the days of yore. Now much of my life revolves around caring for and loving animals…3 cats, 1 dog and 1 horse. I showed in the Hunter Division (over fences) for years. I no longer show but enjoy caring for a very spoiled pet horse. I taught line dancing and still love it. After moving to Bend from the Seattle Area I have been participating in the Amateur Competitions as the opportunities for performing here are nothing like in Seattle. I have met so many wonderful people from all over and have grown musically as well. I did start a Performing group here and we have Soiree’s every so often. I forward to participating in the Amateur competitions as long as I am able (no Spring Chicken anymore!!)
