Program Description

Event Details

The Children's Holiday Ornament and Library Decorating Day is an annual Coronado Library tradition. Each year, kids make two ornaments – one for the Children's Room tree and one to take home. This year’s ornament is a cupcake!

Kids can enjoy hot cocoa while making their ornaments and other holiday decorations for the Children’s Area of the Library.

Decorating Day is hosted by the Junior Volunteers. Anyone in grade 6-12 can join the Junior Volunteers. The Junior Volunteers meet at the Library every Thursday (except December 28th January 4th) at 3:30 p.m. in the Ruby Room.

Tinker Tuesdays is a hands-on educational program that allows children to explore, create, design, and problem solve focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts.
