Program Description

Event Details

Annual Holiday Ornament and Library Decorating Day is an annual tradition. Each year, under the direction of Library staff, kids make an ornament for the tree. Make that two ornaments – one for the tree and one to take home. This year’s ornament is a miniature picture book!

Kids can enjoy hot cocoa while making their ornaments and other holiday decorations for the Children’s Area of the Library.

Decorating Day is hosted by the Junior Volunteers. This annual program is hosted by the Junior Volunteers, the Library’s group of teen volunteers. Anyone in grade 6-12 can join the Junior Volunteers, who meet at the Library every Thursday (except December 22 and 29) at 3:30 p.m. in the Ruby Room.

Tinker Tuesday is a hands-on educational program that allows children to explore, create, design, and problem solve focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts.
