Saturday Art Class for Kids takes place twice a month. Starting in January, it will take place from  11a.m. to 12p.m. in the Ruby Room.

Come play with some clay! This bimonthly program provides two chances to create a work of art using quick dry clay. This month, Ms. Wendy will be guiding you in creating a bee and flower.*

This might be the prettiest science experiment ever. Watch as heat turns plastic into beautiful flowers! Join as we learn about the magical chemistry of polymers. 

Learn to create traditional Ukrainian decorated eggs using the centuries-old wax-resist and dye technique.

Come join the Library every second Thursday at 11am! Little Explorers will provide hands on activities to promote early childhood development and sensory skills. Geared towards babies- 4 years old with a parent or caregiver.

It's Tween Takeover at the library!* Drop by the second Friday of the month for a tween takeover including but not limited to... crafts, snacks, flicks, games, and more!

April is Earth Month, so let's dig deep for some edible, dirt-loving fun! We will use food with layers to demonstrate the different soil layers. Let's learn about soil's vital role in sustaining plant and animal life on our planet!

Tinker Tuesday presents: The Science Guys of San Diego! Come explore pressure and states of matter, with dry ice as the star of the show! You'll go crazy for the insane cup popper and dry ice bubbles!

Construct, craft, and create at our twice-monthly S.T.E.A.M. activity for teens! This in-person program takes place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:30 pm.

Today's activity: Crystal Dig! Keep the crystals you excavate, then race against other participants to identify the rocks and minerals to win a prize!

Teen events are for those entering or finishing grades 6-12.
