Event Details

Learn the basics of the English style of knitting in this five-week course taught by Ann de la Torre. All materials provided. Class size is limited to 8-10 people, so registration is required. Please register for the course only if you can attend all five sessions, as each class builds on the skills learned in previous classes.

Syllabus: 

September 1: cast on; knit stitch

September 8: yarn gauge; knitting a sample

September 15: purl stitch; bind off

September 22: names of different stitches; recognize most common mistakes

September 29: increase and decrease stitches
