Celebrate Black History Month by learning about Katherine Johnson who was a mathematician at NASA during the Space Race. During her time at NASA Katherine had many great accomplishments, but one of her most important contributions was coming up with the maths to get the Apollo 13 space capsule back to Earth safely. In this program, we will design and build a space capsule that will have the slowest landing.
Tinker Tuesdays is a hands-on educational program that allows children to explore, create, design, and problem solve focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts.
