Program Description

Event Details

In the month of March, we’re celebrating our 10th annual Coronado Community READ selection The Feather Detective. Check out the kids companion selection: Birds by Kevin Henkes.

In this program, we will use different "beaks" to pick up different "food sources". During this lab we will discover which beak is best for "catching" each food source. We will experience first-hand how specialized beaks can help birds quickly gather the most food and outcompete other types of birds.

Tinker Tuesdays is a hands-on educational program that allows children to explore, create, design, and problem solve focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts.
