Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents FILM FORUM CORONADO, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the library's Winn Room. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story.

December 6: The Other Son (2012, 105 min)

Bloodlines run thicker than political boundaries. Lorraine Levy’s procreative and tantalizing parable - filmed in Israel and the West Bank - focuses on two young men - one Israeli, the other Palestinian - who discover they were accidentally switched at birth and the rippling effect it has on the two families. Starring Emmanuel  Devos, Jules Sitruk, and Mehdi Dehbi. (French with English subtitles).
